This has been a bittersweet song to make. Almost a year's worth of effort, playing, assembling, correcting, breaking down, rebuilding. It's a dialogue, not disingenuous, not entirely true. It's an argument I have over and over--with myself, and (more passionately) with disconnected sports pundits and hopeless ACC fanatics (lord help them find their way). At any rate I am glad to have finished and mercilessly pleased with the result. "(This Is) Absolute Fucking Bullshit" is much, much larger than college basketball. It is a song that covers so much more than a "sport" or a "program" or a "persona".
